LaserGold™ Coating

Design and Application

AN Motorsport Ltd. have introduced a unique coating to overcome heat soak related problems within a fitting or assemblies.

LaserGold™ is a hard, electrochemically deposited coating that can be applied to metals, carbon fibres, polymers and dielectric surfaces, giving IR reflectivity in excess of 99%.

The foil can be bonded to a variety of surfaces using a special high temperature adhesive which also acts as a thermal barrier.

LaserGold™ enables the rapid dispersion of heat, along a coated hose, reducing the temperature of the fluid within, and also reducing the risk of failure from localised hot spots and heat sink effects eg: brake lines.

• Available as foil or directly plated.
