Design and Application
Eaton Posilock self-seal quick disconnect couplings are designed for high reliability and performance under adverse conditions.
Offering improved load distribution through a latch mechanism, which minimizes brinelling and undue wear of the locking surfaces.
These couplings also provide the added safety feature of an indicator to show when fully engaged and locked, to prevent accidental disconnection.
Connections can be customized to suit customer interfaces
Coupling can also be integrally swaged to Titeflex Aerospace hose products for additional weight saving and elimination of leak paths.
Suitable for use with all fluids currently used in Aerospace and Motor sport systems.

Operation
To couple, insert socket on to nipple and push at rear end of socket, the socket will grip automatically and positively lock. The Posilock self-seal feature is automatic and immediately effective.
All Posilock couplings incorporate the self-lock device, which prevents any possibility of the locking sleeve being engaged accidentally in the unlocked position.
To uncouple, twist and pull the locking ring away from nipple.
